"How Do I Journal?"

A journal is a very personal thing. There are no rules as to what you can or cannot write about, or even how often you have to write or how much you need to say. While it would be best to commit to using your journal each and every day, you should not feel pressured to use your journal when you really feel as though you would rather spend some time relaxing and then call it a day. However, when you begin journalling, you are likely to begin realizing its power very quickly.

In fact, it shouldn't take you much time at all to realize that journalling in itself can be a very soothing outlet. It is a wonderful way to write down your problems and even begin working through them. Some days this might be exactly what you choose to do, while on others, you may would rather write out your favorite Bible verses, or perhaps jot down some affirmations for the day that you would like to keep at the front of your mind as you move forward.

If you are looking for the answer to a question like "How do I journal?" or "What can I journal about?" the answer is entirely up to you. The most important thing is that you use your journal in a meaningful way. For some people, this might mean journalling about their challenges and triumphs while, for others, this may mean using their journal solely as a way to stay steadfast in living a true and faithful life.

There is no right way or wrong way to go about journalling, so don't feel pressured to do things a certain way. The important thing is that you grab a journal and try it out. Commit to journalling each day for the next week. After one or two entries, you are likely to find yourself feeling empowered and even inspired by your daily journalling session. If you continue journalling, you will be able to experience some wonderful benefits that can help you stay grounded in your mission of following God's guiding light.
